Sydney, Monday 4th July, 2011 – Burton Snowboards today announced the return of the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam for 2011 with the country’s best snowboarders set to descend on Mt Buller for Australia’s premier rail event, Saturday July 16.
Now in its 6th year, the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam showcases the talent of 16 invited snowboarders who go head to head sessioning the legendary Cattleman’s Rail under lights at night in Mt Buller’s village square – all in a quest for a share of the $7,000 prize pool.
MTV Snow Jam will present the official after party at Mt Buller’s Kooroora Hotel to finish the 3-day MTV Snow Jam party tour.
Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam partners include Mt Buller Park, MTV Snow Jam, Transfer Snowboard Magazine, Anon and Red.

This year, MTV Snow Jam has had a face lift and transformed into a 3 part series which includes the ultimate road trip to Mt Buller for Burton’s Cattleman’s Rail Jam. MTV Snow Jam 2011 will kick off in Melbourne CBD on Thursday July 14, where MTV will re-create a secret location into their very own snow village. The following day an exclusive crew of media, celebrity faces, clients and comp winners will board an MTV Snow Jam branded party bus and embark on the ultimate MTV Snow Jam road trip to Mt Buller. Arriving later that day the MTV Snow Jam party crew will complete their journey as VIP guests at the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam which will take place on Saturday July 16, followed by the MTV Snow Jam after party.
